According to UNICEF, over 855,000 children have been out of school in the North West and South West regions since the Anglophone crisis started in 2016.
In seeding hope foundation Northwest and Southwest regions, political tensions, which started out as protests in 2016, erupted into violent clashes and a full-blown humanitarian crisis. According to UNICEF, over 855,000 children have been out of school in the North West and South West regions since the anglophone crisis started in 2016. These children have been out of school for over four years and have no access to a proper education due to a lack of tuition fees, uniforms, school bags, and other basic didactic materials.
Since its creation in December 2019, Hope for Cameroon (HfC) has helped to deliver basic humanitarian assistance and skills training workshops to over 350 IDPs in Bonaberi, Douala. In November 2020, HfC launched a Back to School Campaign to sponsor 50 Internally

We believe that children have a right to education, as it is the only ladder through which these children can climb their way out of poverty. Currently, HfC has sponsored 32 out of the 50 IDP kids, but the main challenge is limited resources. Now more than ever, these children need our help! Your donation goes towards paying their tuition, books/textbooks, uniforms, school bags, pens, and pencils. This project can’t be fully completed without your donation.
